Using your large straight scissors , trim any straggily body coat.Remember you are working to a circle shape.

I start trimming the body coat,after I have done the ears from the ruff and work my way only the body of the Pomeranian until I reach the pants.I have actually seen excellent results from trimming from the pants to the front of the Pomeranian, but I find it easier to do, if I trim the ears, trim the hair behind the ears and then use the length of this hair as my guide as I work backwards along my Pomeranian, who should be a good little baby and be patient with me!!
